on a turbulent afternoon
in my tiny slice of sky
ominous clouds did loom
the titans were massing
for a deadly contest
but through my small window
I could see no conquest

Young cloud
prisoner of a turbulent sky
look inward
discover your heart
fly on
to find an open window
sail away
on the wings
of your desire
to other skies
clear and serene
Storm light hues
A days greying light
As aggressive wind
Precedes nature’s might
The horizon darkens
Dry matter flies
Cumulonimbus
Pile up high
Scattered fat drops
Precede storms eye
Shredded black cloud
Goes racing by
Driven rain follows
Meets a dry earth sigh
As flooding water
Dust defies
Lightning brilliance
Thunder nigh
Magnificent concussion
Vault occupies
Above us all
The Titans vie
For heavenly dominance
In the violent sky
