Thank you John. Your comments are appreciated. Wombolano is a lovely reserve set in the outer suburbs of Melbourne. The light was quite magical on this morning.
Regarding AI: I think unregulated data mining and machine learning are risky and unethical enterprises that could take us into a world we may not want to experience. We should be examining and controlling the consequences carefully and proceeding cautiously to ensure constructive and beneficial outcomes for humankind. Also, I believe human creativity should be supported and rewarded where appropriate – not randomly exploited by careless multinationals.
