The Frogmouth was trying to pretend it wasn’t there as soon as it heard us approaching. Once we passed it probably headed back into a nearby tree. Sometimes there camouflage is so good you think they are just another bit of wood unless they move.

As you can see, I am a keen amateur photographer and take a lot of photos. It is great to have an independent place to share them rather than leave them sitting on a computer or have film shots in a hard copy album on a shelf. I thank you for letting me know you get some pleasure from them. It is really nice to learn that they have interest beyond what they mean to me.

It is always great to share photos because I am sure there are people like me who do not click many photos but enjoy looking at them. Moreover, I may never visit Australia again and seeing it through your eyes brings it closer. 🙂
